The Northeastern Connecticut Paranormal Association was founded in April 2010 by Joshua Powers. Josh has been interested in the paranormal for many years and believes he had many unexplained occurrences in his youth. Josh founded the group so that he could help others understand the unknown or whether there are other explanations. He also wants to study the unknown and see if there truly is life after death.
Heading up the group with Josh is his mother. She has had an interest in the paranormal since her youth also and was more than willing to be the Co-Founder of the group. She has had her own experiences over the years that she could not explain and she has had some that she could explain. Her hopes in being a part of this group, are that she will be able to help other people understand the paranormal and also see if there is life after death.
What sets us apart from other paranormal groups you ask? Josh is currently serving in the military and has a great deal of skills that he brings to every investigation. The greatest skill he brings to the table is his attention to detail, which has helped him to debunk many paranormal occurrences, whether they are pictures, audio recordings, claims, or video clips.
"Our group is here to help individuals who are experiencing unexplained occurrences and have no where else to turn. We keep our investigation information confidential, unless the client gives us permission to release the details of the investigation. We aim to calm the fears of our clients by explaining to them what the occurrences might be, if they are not paranormal; or we will explain to them measures they can take to try and dismiss the spirits, should they feel that it will help. One question I have been asked many times before is about how much it would cost to have us conduct an investigation. We do not charge our clients to conduct a paranormal investigation." - Josh (Founder)
We take what we do seriously and will never release any information regarding the investigation unless the client gives us written permission to do so. The Northeastern Connecticut Paranormal Association does not charge for its investigation services. We take pride in our work and we are here to help people understand the unknown and that it is not something to be feared.
